Linda A. Kingsbury, a loving mother and grandmother and friend to many, died on Thursday, March 11th at the age of 80 surrounded by her family.
Linda was the wife of the late William D. Kingsbury. Linda is survived by her children; daughter Lori Ball and partner Alberto Martinez, son Donald Kingsbury and wife Michelle, daughter Lisa Pagliarini and husband Neal, daughter Linda Kingsbury. She is survived by her grandchildren; Tyler Kingsbury, William Ball, Michael Ball, Colby Kingsbury, Emily Pagliarini, Brooke Pagliarini and Samuel Pagliarini. Linda is survived by her sisters Carol McCabe and Cheryl Martel. She was the sister of the late Jean Dow and Daniel Tremblay, and mother-in-law to the late Richard Ball.
Linda graduated from Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and continued on to receive a Bachelor's degree from Roger Williams College. She worked at Miriam Hospital for over forty years. Her love and care for people was shown throughout her career. After retiring she continued to volunteer at Miriam Hospital where she took great joy in caring for others.
Linda was married to William Kingsbury and lived the remainder of her life at their home in Pawtucket. This home was a special place full of laughter, family and friends. Linda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Linda enjoyed traveling and vacationing with her family. She had a love for books. She will be remembered for her smile, love and kindness.
A heartfelt thank you to all of Linda’s family and friends who reached out to her with kind words of comfort and support during this past year.
Calling hours will be held at Keefe Funeral Home in Lincoln, RI on Monday evening from 5:00-7:00pm. Burial will be private.
